Course Description: In this digital age it is becoming more and more important to give clients options for receiving and signing documents. In this hands-on class students will learn about the different types of participants that can be involved in an electronic signing through Authentisign™: in-person signers, remote signers, reviewers and cc only participants. Students will walk through setting up a signing for participants from a transaction. Students will also learn the steps that participants take after they receive a signing to give them the knowledge to aid participants with a signing in the future.
Learning objectives: To demonstrate how to create a signing both from a transaction. Demonstrate knowledge of the signing process to be able to explain the process to participants. Demonstrate the ability to locate a signing in the system and monitor the signing process. Demonstrate the ability to retrieve the signed document from Authentisign™.
This course is approved by the Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce for 2.5 hours for real estate continuing education.
REMINDER: REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATIONS ARE DUE IN ASSOCIATION OFFICE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF CLASS TIME. NO-SHOWS WILL BE CHARGED $25, LATE REGISTRATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS AND WALK-INS WILL BE CHARGED $5. CLASSES ARE INTERACTIVE, PLEASE ALLOW ENOUGH TIME PRIOR TO THE CLASS START TIME TO SET UP YOUR COMPUTER AND/OR LOG INTO YOUR ACCOUNT. THERE MUST BE AT LEAST 5 REGISTRANTS TO RUN THE CLASS. CLASSES ARE LIMITED TO THE FIRST 15 REGISTRANTS.
All MLS Classes are held at GLAR (unless otherwise noted) and are FREE for GLAR members and Office Staff. GLAR has 5 training computers available for use on a first come, first serve basis.
